Job summary

Hanson Academy in North Bradford is seeking an Inclusion Co-ordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead to lead the Inclusion team and ensure every student’s learning and achievement needs are met. The role carries safeguarding responsibilities within the academy and requires a visible commitment to the academy's vision and values.

This permanent, full-time post, affiliated with Delta Academies Trust, offers leadership development through Leadership Pathways and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Barred list and prohibition list checks

Responsibilities

• Promote a learning environment that supports high expectations
• Lead the Inclusion team so that student learning and achievement needs are met
• Contribute to and ensure the effectiveness of the Inclusion team
• Lead on all aspects of inclusion
• Communicate clear purpose and vision to the Inclusion team
• Model the vision and values of the academy and the Trust
• Receive and act on feedback to improve personal performance within academy systems
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
• Carry out the Designated Safeguarding Lead role in the academy
