Job summary

Outwood Grange Acadamies Trust seeks an Inclusion Officer for Outwood Academy Ormesby. The role focuses on delivering inclusive support for SEND students, leading intervention plans, and ensuring Code of Practice compliance within a busy academy.

You will oversee administration, staff deployment, and direct student work to maximise progress. The position is term-time plus 15 days with a fixed 37-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in inclusion practice with SEND and adherence to SEND Code of Practice.
• Ability to create, monitor and review tailored intervention plans.
• Manage administrative oversight and staff deployment to support students.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, monitoring and review of intervention plans (Wave 1, 2, 3).
• Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice across the academy.
• Coordinate staff deployment and direct student work as required.

Role: Inclusion Officer

Academy: Outwood Academy Ormesby

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary (Actual Salary): £29,775.66 to £31,292.16 (Grade 8, SCP 18-21)

Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday, Term Time only plus 15 days

Are you an expert in inclusion practice committed to ensuring every student, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), receives fully inclusive support? As the Inclusion Officer, you will ensure the academy strictly adheres to the SEND Code of Practice, leading the creation, monitoring, and review of tailored intervention plans (Wave 1, 2, and 3) to maximise the progress of vulnerable and disadvantaged students. This role involves complex administrative oversight, staff deployment, and direct student work.
