Job summary

Plymstock School is seeking a dedicated SEND Inclusion Learning Mentor to provide targeted, evidence-based support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will help ensure students are supported with emotional wellbeing, behaviour and re-engagement with learning within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in schools, voluntary or paid.
• Experience of supporting a range of student behaviours.
• Experience of working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions for pupils with SEND.
• Support students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour and re-engagement with learning.
• Implement SEMH approaches such as Zones of Regulation, emotion coaching and CBT-based techniques.
