Job summary

Oastlers School in Bradford seeks an Inclusion Leader to drive inclusive practice across the school and oversee lunchtime supervisor duties. The role requires understanding complex emotional, social and mental health needs of secondary learners and supporting safe, engaging learning environments.

You will work within Exceed Academies Trust framework to promote access to curriculum and extracurricular activities, collaborate with staff, and contribute to safeguarding and positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Understanding and supporting SEMH needs in secondary learners.
• Safeguarding awareness and responsive classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to highly complex problems, particularly in safeguarding and challenging behaviours.
• Implement the school’s Behaviour Policy on a day-to-day basis.
• Support effective learning in the classroom.
• Promote inclusion across the school to ensure access to curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
• Create vibrant, engaging learning environments in the classroom.
