Job summary

Dorset Council is recruiting an Inclusion Lead to champion progress, achievement and wellbeing for pupils with SEND or barriers to learning across Bridport Primary and Bridport St Mary’s. You will lead inclusive practice, shape the new Inclusion Hub at St Mary’s, and develop a specialist SEMH resource provision at Bridport Primary.

This dynamic, newly established role offers a unique opportunity to work across two vibrant schools in the Bridport area—Bridport Primary School and Bridport St Mary’s CE Primary School. As Inclusion Lead, you will drive high-quality inclusive practice and empower every child to flourish. It is an extraordinary moment to join us as we reimagine our well-established Inclusion Hub at St Mary’s (supporting communication and interaction) and launch an innovative specialist resource provision for SEMH at Bridport Primary. You will have the creative freedom and strategic backing to shape and design this role to best serve our school communities whilst working alongside our teams of ambitious professionals.
