Job summary

Blackpool Church of England Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum. You will deliver targeted interventions, promote inclusion and work with SEND pupils 1:1 or in small groups.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, fixed term until 31 August 2027. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required, and Right to Work in the UK must be provided at interview.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated
• Ability to deliver interventions and promote inclusion
• Experience with 1:1 or small group work with SEND

Responsibilities

• To deliver targeted interventions.
• To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
• To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
• You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
• There will be some aspects of working with SEND pupils 1:1 or small group work.
