Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a two-year fixed-term post in the School Inclusion Service. The role advises schools, Trusts and partners to promote inclusive education, including duties around attendance and exclusions. It requires a full UK driving licence, access to a car, and a right to work for at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Advise schools, Trusts and partners on inclusive practice and policy.
• Support senior leaders and governors to improve attendance and manage exclusions.
• Collaborate with SEND and pastoral teams on day-to-day inclusion.
• Carry out statutory tasks including exclusions, PTTT and 10-day absence.
• Build strong relationships with allocated schools as the first point of contact.
