The Victory Primary School, part of United Learning, is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to provide targeted individual and small-group support, mainly in the Inclusion Centre, under teachers' guidance. The role supports pupils with SEND and EAL, helps manage behaviour and keeps lessons calm and focused.

• Experience of working with children with complex learning needs and challenging behaviour

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning under the guidance of teachers, including targeted intervention, guidance and challenge
• Provide tailored individual and small-group support, mainly within the Inclusion Centre
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL to access learning, building confidence, independence and resilience
• Help maintain a calm, focused learning environment and support behaviour management
• Help all pupils achieve academically and socially
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the department and wider school community
• Work collaboratively with staff and pupils across the school
