Job summary

Pontoon is assisting a leading energy sector client in Warwick to recruit an Incident Response Specialist. The role focuses on incident response, capability development, and stakeholder engagement within a DevSecOps context.

You will triage high-priority incidents, design response plans, and mentor colleagues while communicating clearly to senior leaders. The contract is 6 months with hybrid working (1 day in office), requires SC clearance and a degree in security operations or incident

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Incident Response or related fields, or a relevant degree.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a technical cyber discipline.
• Proven track record in shaping capability and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Incident Response: Triage and manage high-priority incidents with appropriate responses.
• Capability Development: Design and maintain incident response plans and processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coach and mentor juniors, engage senior leaders, and drive improvements.
• General: Apply SME guidance to enhance security posture and incident handling.
