Qualifications

• Compréhension des meilleures pratiques en matière de santé et de sécurité, notamment pour la manutention manuelle.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement rapide et sous pression.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Inbound/Outbound Supervisor to join our Logistics and Supply Chain team within a fast-paced mealkit manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe unloading of food deliveries from our suppliers, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and upholding rigorous health and safety practices.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead and supervise a team of Inbound Operatives, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee the unloading and loading of food deliveries, ensuring all products are handled with care and in line with food safety standards.
• Monitor delivery quality, report discrepancies or issues promptly, and escalate where necessary.
• Operate and supervise the safe use of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs), ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with other logistics functions to ensure smooth handover of inbound stock to production or storage.
• Maintain clear documentation and accurate records of received goods.
• Support training and development of the Inbound Operatives to promote a high-performing, safety-first culture.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with food handling.
• Strong understanding of health and safety best practices, particularly in relation to manual handling and use of PPTs.
• Experience supervising or leading small teams.
• High attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• PPT license or willingness to undergo training (if applicable).

Location: The Windmill, 1 Holme Lane, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7HW

Shift Pattern: 4 on 3 off Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday. Rotating from days to nights every 3 months
