Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in West London/Surrey invites an experienced Inbound Logistics Lead to support a major Oil & Gas redevelopment project in the Middle-East. You will oversee inbound movements from international and local suppliers to operating sites, ensuring safe, timely and cost‑effective logistics.

Key responsibilities include end‑to‑end freight, customs clearance and importation; coordinating with internal teams and partners; managing freight forwarders and brokers; and driving improvements

Qualifications

• Proven logistics and supply chain experience, ideally within Oil & Gas, large CAPEX projects or onshore operations.
• Strong knowledge of international freight, customs clearance and transportation management.
• Experience in materials management, warehousing and supplier management.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• University degree preferred; CIPS qualification or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inbound logistics, including freight, transportation, customs clearance and importation.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and local partners to ensure supply chain continuity.
• Manage logistics providers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Identify supply chain risks and drive improvements in logistics performance, costs and lead times.
• Ensure compliance with relevant country regulations, trade requirements and HSE standards.
• Support the development of logistics infrastructure, processes and systems.
