Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Research Analyst to join our In-Vitro Metabolism team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. You will perform routine laboratory tasks, follow study protocols and maintain accurate study documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.

Minimum qualifications include a BSc or equivalent in a life science subject; relevant experience may be substituted. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to develop analytical and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to a BSc or equivalent in a relevant life science subject.
• Relevant experience may be substituted for academic qualifications.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Developing competent basic laboratory skills.
• Setting up and performing appropriate assays based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team.
• Participating in study protocol reviews and meetings (i.e. pre-initiation meeting).
• Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Reviewing own work for overall accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and soundness of technical judgment.
• Delivering results within agreed timeframe.
• Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory work environment and performing routine maintenance.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
