Job summary

Boots Group in the UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, dispensing prescriptions and advising patients as you work toward NVQ2 training.

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided. The role is in-store with UK right to work required, and salary is paid hourly as shown. Opportunities for progression exist to Pharmacy Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Ability to provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Willingness to work with the pharmacy team to ensure safe dispensing and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and regulatory processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adhere to their regimens.
