Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group in the United Kingdom is seeking store colleagues to help customers across busy stores, with duties including stocking, serving customers and promoting products. You will use digital tools to improve the customer experience and work with a collaborative team.

You will help organise stock, keep shelves tidy and work across shifts, including weekends. We value flexible, proactive team players who take pride in detail and are eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that's filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
• A committed team player, always willing to support colleagues and work together
• Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges
• Open to learning, developing and trying new things to improve our service
• Confident learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly
• Take pride and ownership in your work, including close attention to detail, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and always looking for ways to make our customer experience better
• Sunday: 06:00 - 12:00
• Monday: 06:00 - 12:00
• Tuesday: 06:00 - 12:00
