Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist for a specialist education setting in Manchester. The role is term-time only with a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:15am-4:00pm) and salaries between £33,000 and £39,000 depending on experience.

You will assess, plan and deliver high-quality SLT interventions, collaborate with teachers, SENDCo, families and external professionals, and contribute to EHCPs and annual reviews to improve pupil communication and

Qualifications

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required).
HCPC registration is mandatory for practice.
Membership of RCSLT preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Assess pupils' speech, language and communication needs using formal and informal tools.
Deliver one-to-one and small group SLT interventions.
Develop, implement and review personalised therapy programmes.
Support pupils with SEND, SLCN, ASC, SEMH and related needs.
Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and target setting.
Provide practical communication strategies for teachers and parents.
Collaborate with SEND professionals and external agencies.
Monitor progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly.
Produce high-quality reports and maintain clinical records.
Promote inclusive communication strategies across the school.
