Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Health Care team at HMP Grampian. You will provide an occupational perspective to care planning in a multidisciplinary setting, addressing daily occupations to support health, wellbeing and reintegration.

Applicants should be registered (HCPC) with relevant mental health/forensic experience considered desirable, and a willingness to work flexibly across a seven-day service.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC registration.
• Experience in mental health or forensic settings is desirable.
• Experience working with marginalised or socially excluded groups is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide an occupational perspective to care planning and service delivery within HMP Grampian.
• Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a complex environment.
• Contribute to occupation-centred, evidence-based practice and supervise support workers as needed.
• Support 7-day service delivery, including weekends and extended hours when required.
