Academics in Wokingham is seeking a patient Philosophy SEND Tutor to provide one-to-one educational support for a learner with SEND. The tutor will deliver Philosophy content, adapt pace and resources to meet individual needs, and foster critical thinking in a calm environment.

The role focuses on supporting secondary GCSE or post-16 content as dictated by the learner, with collaboration with parents/carers and safeguarding responsibilities. This is an in-person position based in Wokingham.

Qualificações

• Strong subject knowledge in Philosophy.
• Experience teaching or tutoring Philosophy.
• Experience with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
• Experience providing one-to-one educational support.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual learning needs.
• Experience supporting learners with barriers to mainstream education.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personalised one-to-one Philosophy tuition to a learner with SEND.
