Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking an experienced EOTAS Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to a secondary-aged learner in Somerset. The role is in-person, with sessions possibly taking place at the learner's home or in a suitable community setting.

The successful candidate will have SEND/SEMH experience, be patient and flexible, and capable of adapting teaching methods to meet emotional and behavioural needs. Safeguarding and building positive relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged learners with SEND/SEMH.
• Experience delivering one-to-one tuition or outreach support.
• Ability to adapt teaching to individual emotional/behavioural needs.
• Confident in building positive relationships with young learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised one-to-one educational support to a secondary-aged learner in Somerset.
• Support GCSE-level learning, revision, and exam preparation where appropriate.
• Identify gaps and provide targeted educational support.
• Adapt teaching methods and pace to meet individual needs and interests.
