Longman Tax Recruitment Ltd. supports an in-house Tax Manager role in Manchester. You will lead corporation tax with strong CT experience and provide VAT and employment tax guidance within a professional services law firm, translating complex tax into clear business advice.

A focus on process improvement, automation and technology-enabled delivery across Group Tax and Partner Finance is expected. Hybrid working is offered, with a preference for Manchester Office but Leeds also considered.

In house Tax Team are looking for a Tax Manager with strong CT experience who has had ideally also has some exposure to VAT and employment tax. This is a broad, commercially focused tax role. Primarily to be responsible for corporation tax but also providing wider tax support within a professional services Law Firm.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in driving process improvement, automation and technology-enabled delivery across Group Tax and Partner Finance.

It is suited to a well-rounded tax professional probably a first move from a top-tier or leading regional firm, who has had experience dealing with an OMB client base. Someone who is seeking a varied in-house role with plenty of scope and support to develop.

You’ll bring strong technical knowledge together with a practical and commercial approach, enabling you to translate complex tax requirements into clear advice for stakeholders across the firm.

On offer is a generous salary and benefits /bonus / and hybrid working.

1 day in the ideally Manchester Office but can consider Leeds office as well
