Job summary

Longman Tax Recruitment Ltd. supports an in-house Tax Manager role in Manchester. You will lead corporation tax with strong CT experience and provide VAT and employment tax guidance within a professional services law firm, translating complex tax into clear business advice.

A focus on process improvement, automation and technology-enabled delivery across Group Tax and Partner Finance is expected. Hybrid working is offered, with a preference for Manchester Office but Leeds also considered.

Qualifications

• UK tax experience in a tax role within professional services.
• Strong CT (Corporation Tax) knowledge with VAT and employment tax exposure.
• Experience driving process improvements and technology-enabled delivery.
• Ability to advise stakeholders clearly across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporation tax compliance and advisory work for the firm.
• Provide VAT and employment tax guidance as needed.
• Drive process improvements and automation across Group Tax and Partner Finance.
• Partner with finance and tax teams to deliver commercial tax solutions.
