Longman Tax Recruitment Ltd. is assisting an in-house tax team in Manchester to hire a VAT Accountant/Associate to support the Indirect Tax Manager and coordinate VAT obligations across Europe.

You will own day-to-day indirect tax activities, prepare UK and European VAT returns, Intrastat and EC Sales List, and collaborate with the wider Finance team to drive process improvements. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary and benefits; applicants must have UK right to work and relevant VAT

In House - Indirect Tax

We are looking for a motivated VAT Accountant/ Associate to join our expanding in-house tax team. This is a super opportunity to play an integral role in supporting the Indirect Tax Manager with VAT compliance obligations across multiple European countries.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of key day-to-day indirect tax activities, utilise tax technology solutions and contribute to ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives.

Prep and and submission of UK and European VAT returns and managing monthly Intrastat and EC Sales List. Working closely with stakeholders across the wider Finance team to support VAT compliance requirements.
