Yolk Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading South Wales organisation with the appointment of a Solicitor to join its established in-house legal team. This is a great opportunity for a 2+ PQE solicitor with a contentious or regulatory background who is looking to move in-house or develop their existing in-house experience within a broad, commercially focused role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' PQE as a solicitor; relevant experience considered.
• Experience in at least one area: litigation, regulatory, or environmental law.

Responsibilities

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Managing commercial, customer and property disputes, litigation and enforcement.
• Supporting regulatory enforcement and prosecution activity.
• Advising on property, land, access and asset-related matters.
• Supporting environmental and regulatory issues.
• Instructing and managing external legal advisers.
• Preparing cases relating to statutory rights and powers.
• Providing legal input on customer and third-party complaints.
• Legal research, drafting and negotiation.
• Supporting legal and regulatory horizon scanning.
• Supervising and mentoring junior legal professionals.
