Job summary

Pertemps Open University is seeking an In-house Recruitment Consultant in Birmingham (Hams Hall area) to deliver end-to-end recruitment for public-sector contracts. You’ll build strong client and candidate relationships and drive smooth onboarding, compliance and welfare processes.

The role is full-time, office-based, 40 hours per week, on a 6-month FTC, with a salary up to £29,000 plus KPI bonus. You’ll work with stakeholders to optimise recruitment performance and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring top-tier service delivery
• Use innovative sourcing strategies to attract the best talent
• Build strong relationships with clients, candidates, and internal teams
• Provide expert support on onboarding, compliance, payroll, and employee welfare
• Analyse recruitment data to drive continuous improvement
• Act as a subject-matter expert and escalation point for workforce matters.

Qualifications
