Job Description:
Morgan Philips is seeking an energetic and driven recruiter with proven expertise in sourcing high-quality candidates for white-collar construction / engineering roles. This in-house position is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates through direct sourcing methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source candidates using various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings through interviews and assessments to determine suitability for specific roles.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role specifications and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in recruitment, particularly in the construction sector.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system and provide regular reports on sourcing metrics and candidate progress.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally within the construction and / or engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of white-collar construction roles and industry-specific skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency in direct sourcing techniques and use of social media platforms for recruitment.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on construction / engineering.
- Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
