Job summary

Resonant Inc. is seeking an In-House Engineering ISO 9001 QMS Lead & Service Engineer based in Chorley. The role combines hands-on service with ownership of QMS and continuous improvement across the In‑House Engineering function.

You will ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and process excellence, supporting global clinical studies and a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering.
• Experience in ISO 9001 QMS administration and compliance activities (SOPs, audits, documentation control).
• Strong technical service, engineering or equipment maintenance background in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of clinical trial equipment.
• Lead QMS activities including SOPs, WIs, PFs and training records.
• Drive Lean/Kaizen continuous improvement and 6S standards across IHE operations.
• Support day-to-day workshop activities, stand-ups, and KPI delivery.
• Provide technical input into sourcing, product lifecycle management, and equipment evaluation.
