Anglian is seeking an in-house Paralegal to support our growing legal department with debt recovery and dispute resolution. The role focuses on contract law, governance, and compliance within a national, multi-branded company.

You will draft, review, and manage contracts, corporate policies, and records while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Operations to align with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Paralegal in corporate or in-house settings.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law and compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; proficient in legal research tools and contract management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough legal research on corporate governance, compliance, and contract law.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and filing/reporting compliance.
• Maintain and update corporate records, including minutes and resolutions.
• Support contract lifecycle management by tracking dates and terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Research & Analysis:Conduct thorough legal research on issues related tocorporate governance,compliance, andcontract lawto support our legal team.
• Drafting & Reviewing Documents:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising a wide range of legal documents, includingcontracts,agreements, andcorporate policies.
• Case Management:Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with all filing and reporting requirements.
• Corporate Records Maintenance:Maintain and update corporate records, including minutes, resolutions, and filings with regulatory bodies.
• Contract Management:Support contract lifecycle management by organising and maintaining contract databases, tracking key dates, and ensuring adherence to contract terms.
• Compliance Support:Assist with the implementation and monitoring ofcompliance programsto ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with various departments such as HR, Finance, and Operations to provide legal support and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience:Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as aParalegalin a corporate or in-house setting.
• Education:Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification.
