Our client is seeking a lawyer or contracts specialist responsible for managing customer, vendor, and business partner contracts. The role reports to a Senior stakeholder and General Counsel.

This organisation is driven by acquisition and growth worldwide, requiring the ability to work well with diverse teams across multiple countries.

The role involves regular interaction with colleagues and clients globally, offering a borderless working experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer or experienced commercial contracts specialist aiming to advance in the software, Telco, and IT industries.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at meetings in various locations.

What we are looking for

• Proven significant experience in drafting, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts.
• Qualified Lawyer (Common Law Jurisdiction) with 3+ years PQE.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience advising and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Experience with international contracts and contracts governed by foreign laws.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially for high-value contracts.
• Highly experienced with software or IT companies (Essential).
• Expertise in software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS contracts (Essential).
• Ability to produce and present reports to diverse audiences.
• Experience advising on global data protection laws, including EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA.
• Willingness to travel as needed to clients and offices.
