About Our Client
Established in 1998, the organisation support individuals with learning disabilities and autism with housing throughout the North West. Each year they house over 250 people and continually find innovative ways to provide suitable and much needed housing solutions.
They are a fast growing organisation and are looking to take on more long term, commercial leases, so they are looking for a legal expert to come in as in-house conveyancer to shape the team and support on all legal property matters.
Job Description
The primary objectives are to develop and implement a proactive lease strategy for the organisation, encompassing renewals, asset disposals, and third-party leasing arrangements.
As in-house conveyancer, you can expect to deal with:
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of leases: occupancy, alterations, assignments, deeds of variation, rent reviews and related documentation. We are looking for qualified solicitors or legal executives with experience of management.
A background from Property and Housing business or Local Authority would be advantageous.
What's on Offer
Successful in-house conveyancer package:
Salary DOE circa £48k plus car allowance, 27 days AL + bank holidays (increasing with service and option to buy more), 5% pension, paid voluntary days, enhanced maternity and parental pay.
Agile working also available.
