Job summary

Michael Page (UK) is seeking an In-House Commercial Property Solicitor to manage acquisitions, disposals and day-to-day transactions for a diverse UK portfolio. The role offers a hybrid work pattern and exposure to senior business leaders in a Manchester-based setting.

The successful applicant will draft and negotiate leases, handle landlord/tenant matters and support asset management and redevelopment projects with a pragmatic, commercially-focused legal approach.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial property experience gained in private practice or in-house.
• Experience handling leases, acquisitions, disposals and landlord and tenant matters independently.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercially minded with ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Confident communicator with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing acquisitions, disposals and day-to-day commercial property transactions across a varied portfolio.
• Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, assignments, variations and other property documentation.
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters, title issues and property related risk management.
• Supporting asset management, redevelopment and investment projects across the portfolio.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.
