Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Manchester is seeking an In-House Commercial Property Solicitor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers 3–4 days per week with 50% hybrid working, supporting a varied commercial property portfolio and advising senior decision-makers.

You will draft and negotiate leases, handle acquisitions and disposals, and advise on landlord and tenant matters, balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Managing acquisitions, disposals and day to day commercial property transactions across a varied portfolio
• Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, assignments, variations and other property documentation
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters, title issues and property related risk management
• Supporting asset management, redevelopment and investment projects across the portfolio
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers to deliver commercially focused legal solutions

Description

• Managing acquisitions, disposals and day to day commercial property transactions across a varied portfolio

Profile

• A solicitor or lawyer with strong commercial property experience gained in private practice or in house
• Experienced in handling leases, acquisitions, disposals and landlord and tenant matters independently
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
• A confident communicator who can build relationships with both legal and non legal stakeholders

Job Offer

• Salary of £65,000 to £75,000 FTE
• 12 month fixed term contract
