Job summary

Tangerine Group, based at our Head Office in Lytham, is seeking an experienced Commercial Law Paralegal to join the in-house Legal team. You will support a wide range of legal, employment, governance and compliance matters across the Group.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will draft and review legal documentation, manage records and liaise with external advisers as required, helping protect the business and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal, ideally in-house.
• Degree and/or recognised Paralegal qualification.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial litigation, trademarks and compliance.
• Excellent written communication skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and amend contracts, policies and legal correspondence.
• Support HR with employment-related documentation including contracts and amendments.
• Assist with employee relations, disciplinary, grievance and absence processes.
• Maintain legal records and corporate governance documentation.
• Support with employment tribunal, ACAS and other case files.
• Prepare case bundles, witness documentation and supporting evidence.
• Assist with trademark administration and IP matters.
• Support data Subject Access Requests and data protection activities.
• Monitor legal developments and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with departments to provide practical legal support.
