Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a Personal Wellbeing Assistant to provide care in adults’ own homes. The role includes personal care, assisting with medications, and supporting with meals and drinks.

It is a part-time position, 21 hours per week, with a rota that includes weekends and evening shifts from 4 pm to 10 pm. Applicants should have a genuine interest in delivering high-quality care that respects privacy, dignity, choice and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support in adults' own homes
• Assist with medication and meals/drinks
• Work on a rota including weekends and evening shifts (4pm-10pm)
• Travel across the city as required
• Complete induction and accredited training with the council
