Job summary

Independent Living Solutions Ltd. is seeking dedicated care staff to support a young adult with neuro-disabilities in a rural New Alresford setting. The role involves home and community-based care, driving to various locations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for young people with complex needs, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to flexible shifts, including sleep nights where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience/understanding of working with young people with neuro disability preferred.
• Good verbal & written communication skills; IT literate; ability to keep accurate written records of care.
• Good organisational skills and ability to adhere to standards and quality requirements.
• Willingness to drive to apply for this role and work across rural locations.

Responsibilities

• Support young adults with neuro disabilities in home and community.
• Provide safe, effective care and support to the client.
• Ensure care is of high quality, safe and effective.
• Follow a 24-hour posture management programme.
• Manage medication and feeding regime.
• Keep equipment and immediate home environment tidy and well organized.
