Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a driven in-home sales consultant to assess customer needs, propose Lowe’s home improvement products, and close sales with a customer-centric approach.

You will build lasting relationships, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and coordinate with contractors and store teams to ensure accurate job files and timely execution. The role requires at least 2 years of outside sales experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a MVR check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in in-home, direct-to-consumer, or consultative sales.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly in face-to-face interactions.
• Ability to accurately measure and assess project needs in customer homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service and adhere to Lowe’s service standards at all times.
• Conduct in-home consultations to uncover customer needs and recommend appropriate home improvement products and services.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals, leveraging strong closing skills and solution-based selling techniques.
• Build strong client relationships through attentive listening, asking qualifying questions, and providing tailored recommendations.
• Follow up with customers who have not made a buying decision, especially during promotional events or key selling periods.
