Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and resolve home improvement needs. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and ensure a positive store experience.

In this role you will stock merchandise, process orders and deliveries, and may rotate through departments to deliver excellent service. A part-time schedule is available with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six months of computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying data)
• Six months of experience with common retail tech (smartphones/tablets)
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform job duties
• Minimum lifting of 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance if needed
• Preferred: six months in retail or customer service, bilingual skills, and trade certifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
