Job summary

Guild Care is seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide personal care and support to older people in their own homes across Worthing and surrounding areas. You will build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and maintain dignity while delivering practical care and companionship.

The role offers flexible hours across multiple contracts, with pay ranging from £13.66 to £16.56 per hour, and perks including wellbeing days, travel allowances, and eye care vouchers.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to travel between clients.
• A satisfactory DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support with warmth, respect, and kindness.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meals, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and promote wellbeing and social connection.
• Assist with light domestic duties and ensure care items are clean and hygienic.
• Report changes in client wellbeing to the care team and complete records.
