Guild Care is hiring a Community Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home support across Worthing and surrounding areas. You will deliver personal care, assist with daily living tasks, and help clients maintain independence with dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to travel between clients.
• A satisfactory DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Support: Assist clients with personal care, ensuring hygiene and comfort.
• Practical Assistance: Support clients with meal preparation and food-related tasks; provide domestic help as needed.
• Promote Well-being: Encourage mental and physical activity for clients to enhance their quality of life.
• Administrative Duties: Accurately record time sheets and care plans.
• Training and Development: Attend training and development opportunities.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow Guild Care's policies and Health and Safety regulations, wear uniform and ID badge.
• Professional Conduct: Act as a role model in providing good care and communication; undertake other duties as needed.
