Job summary

Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team in Guildford and surrounding areas. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes, supporting with daily tasks, mobility, and companionship to preserve independence and dignity.

This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own car, with weekend and bank holiday flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care in service users' own homes.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required.
• Support with medication in line with care plans and training.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where needed.
• Support service users with daily routines and household tasks.
• Encouraging independence, choice and community involvement.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Following individual care plans and reporting any changes in needs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records.
• Working closely with families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Following safeguarding, health & safety and infection-control procedures.
• Supporting individuals to attend appointments and access the local community where required.

Community Care Worker - Guildford

Location: Guildford and surrounding areas

Pay: £14.62 - £17.48 per hour

Bank Holidays: Up to £30.39 per hour

Mileage: 50p per mile paid

Own car and full driving licence essential

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Community Care Workers to join a well-established care provider supporting people in their own homes across Guildford and the surrounding areas.
