Job summary

Guild Care in Worthing is seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide in-home care to older adults. You will deliver personal care with warmth and respect, support daily living activities, and maintain client dignity in their own homes across Worthing and surrounding areas.

The role offers multiple contracts and hours, with a pay rate of £13.66–£16.56 per hour (block pay includes travel time). Training and development are provided, along with a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in care settings is desirable.
• Travel between clients required.
• DBS check satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and support with warmth, respect and kindness.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Provide companionship and promote wellbeing and social connection.
• Assist with light domestic duties and ensure care items are clean and hygienic.
• Support with local errands such as shopping and pension collections.
• Record time sheets and care plans; report changes to the Homecare Office.
