Job description

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions (SGIS) we are looking for an IMS Coordinator to work in our Integrated Management Systems team.

If you're someone who likes to be people facing, can communicate at all levels, are organised, not afraid to put yourself out there, and enjoy looking for ways to continually improve processes, then this could be for you!

With a supportive team around you, we don't necessarily need the finished article; we can get you up to speed on how we do things, and will build your skills and knowledge over time - what we do ask for is someone who is inquisitive with a good attention to detail, and the ability to support people through change through your engaging and influential nature.

Ideally you'll be based out of East Leake, Loughborough, the role can be worked on a hybrid basis. We would absolutely consider applicants who could be based out of other SGIS sites in the UK.

Travel across the UK in this role is a necessity, therefore you must be available for occasional overnight stays.

What we're looking for:

  • A process orientated approach required and a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • It would be preferable if you have an understanding of any of the following ISO standards/management systems: 9001, 14001, 45001 or 50001
  • Audit experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels within the business and wider organisation
  • Strong administration/coordination, time management and organisation skills and experience of managing multiple concurrent activities
  • Knowledge of improvement methods

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting with the maintenance, update and improvement of the Q-Pulse Cloud (quality management system) System
  • Managing customer questionnaires, compiling all information required, completing required questions and maintaining open communication throughout.
  • Developing training packages using digital software to aid in the communication and understating of key business processes.
  • Support colleagues across all areas of the business to ensure we remain compliant in line with processes and procedures
  • Assisting with audits, ensuring the business is working to the correct standards, in line with the processes and procedures that are in place
  • Assisting with root cause analyses, associated corrective action plans, and following up corrective actions
  • Visit and, when required, present to a variety of stakeholders across the business (this could include things such as process updates, training, or support activities)
  • Involving yourself with activities and initiatives within the wider SGIS business
