National Energy System Operator Limited is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Implementation Strategy team to shape the Reformed National Pricing programme. You will map changes across balancing, settlement and dispatch, collaborating with market design, programme management and operations to deliver a cohesive delivery plan.

This Senior Analyst post is in the Implementation Strategy team which is part of the Reformed National Pricing (RNP) programme team within NESO. It plays a critical role in defining the implementation approach for the reforms identified through the RNP programme. Responsibilities include understanding the proposed market design, assessing the impacts on NESO personnel, systems, and processes, and engaging with the industry to ensure a comprehensive assessment of implementation. The reforms under consideration include changes to balancing and settlement arrangements, constraint management measures, and investment siting levers. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with market design, business analysis, programme management, and operational teams to map out the necessary changes and develop a cohesive delivery plan. This is an exciting opportunity to engage extensively across NESO and the industry to help deliver significant transformations within the GB electricity market. This role can be based from Wokingham, Warwick, Glasgow, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
