Job summary

Andover Public Schools (APS) is seeking a part-time literacy and math tutor at West Middle School. The position involves tutoring individuals and small groups, using pull-out/push-in models, with collaboration with academic specialists, instructional coaches, classroom teachers, and administrators to support student learning.

The candidate must be a Certified Teacher with an elementary (grades 1-6) or middle school license; prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Teacher required with elementary (K-6) or middle school license.
• Demonstrates effective collaboration, communication, and organization.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide literacy and/or mathematics instruction in pull-out and/or push-in models.
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and communicate with classroom staff and administrators.
• Participate in parent events/meetings as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
