Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with learning needs across our schools. You will provide one-to-one and small group assistance, adapt resources, and help create engaging displays.

The role is term-time only, with opportunities to develop through our CPD programme and ITT support. You will work closely with the SENDCo and SEND team to help all children access high-quality learning.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is beneficial.
• Term-time only position.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Safeguarding awareness is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Adapt teaching resources and develop new learning ideas.
• Collaborate with the SENDCo and SEND team to support learners.
