Job summary

Moor Park High School And Sixth Form in Preston is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant to work 29 hours 10 minutes per week during term time. The role focuses on assisting pupils aged 11–16, both individually and in small groups, to help them achieve outstanding progress in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate emotional intelligence, enthusiasm for diverse learner needs and strong communication to engage students and contribute to a positive school

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people (11 years +).
• The confidence to assist students on an individual basis and in small group/whole class work.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills to engage young people.
• The ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence.
• Enthusiasm for supporting students with differing needs/ability.
