Herefordshire Community Wellbeing is seeking a dynamic Social Worker (Adult Social Care) to join a supportive team in Herefordshire. The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours, and a salary of £37,563–£42,123 plus a £3,000 welcome payment.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and a qualifying degree.
• Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and guidance.
• Aspiration to develop into Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor or AMHP.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Care Act Assessments and person-centered support planning.
• Conduct Mental Capacity Assessments and Section 42 Enquiries.
• Engage with diverse adults with disabilities, mental health needs or older people.
• Work with a strengths-based approach to empower independence.
• Participate in CHC and s117 work and maintain regular supervision.
