Job summary

TeachMatch are seeking Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school in Broadway from September 2026. This Reception role is full-time and involves working with children with additional needs.

You will support students 1:1 or in small groups, assist the teacher with classroom management, and help create an inclusive learning environment. Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant and opportunities for long-term or permanent placement are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN or mainstream school environments.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups with additional needs.
• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom management.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally.
• Support students' emotional and social development.
