Job summary

Canonium Learning Trust invites applications for a part-time SEN Learning Support Assistant and Midday Assistant at East Hanningfield CE Primary Academy. The role supports a pupil with an EHCP, promoting social, emotional and academic development in a fully inclusive school.

Working 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:15pm with a daily lunchtime duty. Pay is £15,890.65 for the LSA and £2,933.10 for the MDA per year. Visits to the school are welcomed, safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• EHCP support experience encouraged.
• Ability to promote social and academic development.
• Experience supporting children during lunch breaks.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with an EHCP to deliver individualised provisions.
• Provide lunchtime supervision and ensure safety and good conduct in the dining hall and outdoors.
• Promote inclusive learning and assist pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
