Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor for a friendly primary school in Haringey on a full-time basis.

You will support pupils with additional needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping with emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and engagement in learning.

Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO, you’ll build strong relationships, adapt approaches, and help pupils access learning, contributing to an inclusive school culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SEN Learning Mentor or similar role providing support to pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and effective communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support emotional wellbeing, social and communication skills, and engagement with learning.
• Assist with behaviour management and help pupils access learning in a tailored way.
