Job summary

Qteg is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Mentor for a full-time role at a friendly primary school in Haringey. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with additional needs, both one-to-one and in small groups.

You will help pupils develop confidence, social and communication skills, manage behaviour, and stay engaged with their learning, contributing to an inclusive, supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN Learning Mentor or in a similar primary school role.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work on a one-to-one basis and with small groups to support pupils.
• Help children build confidence and develop their social and communication skills.
• Support pupils with additional needs and help them access learning.
• Assist with managing behaviour and keeping pupils engaged in learning.
