Job summary

Joseph Norton Academy in Huddersfield is seeking a Positive Engagement Coach to design and deliver engaging activities for pupils with SEMH needs. The role focuses on coordinating programmes across our sites, building partnerships with external organisations, and prioritising pupil wellbeing.

The position offers a competitive salary of £29,997 actual annually, working 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri during term time with a few inset days, within a supportive Wellspring Academy Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or similar setting.
• GCSE Maths and English are required.
• A-Level or relevant Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Car driver with access to a vehicle and business insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, design and deliver activities to support children in SEMH.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to provide safe and effective provisions across settings.
• Develop networks to ensure high-quality engagement and wellbeing for pupils.
